This role involves taking responsibility for the electronics and firmware design of products from concept through to production. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to support new commercial opportunities and operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop digital/analogue electronics and firmware for products using FPGA VHDL.
  2. Lead the development of system architectural designs and concepts.
  3. Manage the creation of schematic and board layouts using Altium Designer CAD tool.
  4. Oversee prototype build, test, and fault finding.
  5. Coordinate specification and requirements capture.
  6. Conduct hands-on soldering and fault finding.
  7. Ensure EMC and electrical safety compliance.
  8. Generate cost models and perform RoHS analysis.

We are looking for a highly experienced electronics design engineer with 8+ years experience, who can lead and motivate our team to deliver innovative solutions.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
