Coty, a leading beauty company, seeks an experienced HR Manager to join its team. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract position, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's human resources function.

Job Description

The HR Manager will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including employee relations, talent management, and learning and development. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and employees at all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK employment law and excellent communication skills. Experience in delivering HR projects is preferred, as this role will involve leading ad-hoc HR projects at a local level.

The HR Manager will work closely with the existing HR team to support a busy Supply Chain site, consisting of production, engineering, technical packaging, and quality teams. The team is positive, driven, and supportive, with a focus on growth, learning, and getting things done.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Management: Support leaders with hiring, succession, and workforce planning; facilitate talent reviews and calibration sessions; design initiatives to understand and increase capabilities; guide effective goal setting.
  • Wellbeing: Track and assess the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives; help design and deliver wellness events; collaborate with other functions to ensure employee well-being.
  • ER Case Management: Manage employee relations matters; ensure well-documented and fair outcomes; update and review templates in line with best practice and changes in legislation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • CIPD level 3 (minimum)
  • Strong Employee Relations experience
  • Previous experience working onsite and supporting large functions/teams
  • Desirable: Experience rolling out new systems
