Associate Medical Director

We are looking for three part-time enthusiastic and adaptable Associate Medical Directors to join our caring and progressive team.
This developmental role has been created to support the Chief Medical Officer in medical leadership for the Trust.
The Chief Medical Officer and medical directorate has broad responsibilities including assuring (along with the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Allied Health Professional) the Board that services provided by the Trust are high quality, safe and patient focussed. The Medical Directorate also provides advice and support to clinical services on clinical quality related matters, oversees the professional governance of doctors working for the Trust and leads the Continuous Improvement programme.
You will report directly to the CMO and individualised support and development plans will be agreed to allow the doctors to gradually build skills and expertise across a range of management, governance and leadership areas. You'll be given the opportunity to work across one or more areas, with opportunities to rotate over time to broaden experience
