Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice at Starlite Dental Finberry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental procedures and patient care, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
  • Utilise medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, including enhanced treatment planning.

Requirements

  • A valid dental degree from an accredited institution and current registration with the relevant dental board.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to dentistry.
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with Digital CBCT systems.
  • SOE Exact Software experience.
  • Itero 3D imaging experience.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • A compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Working Arrangements

  • Full-time or part-time positions available.
  • Variable shift patterns, including 10 hour, 12 hour, and 8 hour shifts.
  • Monday to Friday, with weekend availability.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in dentistry required.
  • 1 year of IT experience preferred.
  • GDC registration required.
