We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Associate Director of Nursing to join our caring and progressive team.

The Associate Director of Nursing is responsible for working with the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer to ensure the delivery of safe and well led services across Kent. The emphasis on being supportive, working alongside operational teams as we redesign models of care and clinical pathways.

You will support the Chief Nursing Officer and the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer by leading on a broad and interesting portfolio of work. You'll directly support the Patient Safety Team, Medical Equipment, Complaints and Risk Teams. This role will provide the opportunity to develop organisational governance skills and would suit someone with the ambition to progress to Deputy Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Nursing Officer.

You'll have the chance to provide strong leadership and professional nursing advice during an exciting time of change, enabling high quality patient centred services to be delivered to patients across the Trust.

You will also be responsible for leading patient safety, complaints, risk and medical equipment management as well as the day to day professional effectiveness of nursing across the totality of their portfolio.
