About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Transfer of Care Hub in Colchester Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to provide efficient administration support and be a key contact for patients and families.

Job Description

In this role, you will work collaboratively as part of a team to provide comprehensive and high-quality services. You will be responsible for adhering to policies and procedures, communicating effectively with a range of people, and supervising/coordinating other team members. You will also have experience working with members of the public and be familiar with the NHS discharge process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Supervise/coordinate team members
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational skills
  • NVQ level 3 in administration/secretarial or equivalent experience
  • GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
