About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as an Office Support Specialist. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Nuclear Medicine Department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Cover reception duties, manage various demands, and work independently for extended periods.
  • Patient Communication: Act as a link between patients, staff, and departments to provide accurate information and advice.
  • Procedure Management: Schedule diagnostic and therapy procedures, maintain statutory records, and liaise with external contacts.
  • PET Request Handling: Receive PET requests, send them to Alliance Medical, and handle related queries.
  • Appointment Booking: Book patient appointments on RIS, send out appointment letters, and distribute Patient Information Leaflets.
  • Clinical Coordination: Coordinate imaging appointments with the Paediatric Department and ensure sentinel lymph node procedures are performed correctly.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and organisational abilities, as well as the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
