Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic, forward-looking organization that offers a range of healthcare services to a population of almost 800,000 people. We are seeking an experienced administrative support specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Head of Specialist Services and other service managers, ensuring the efficient operation of our services. This will include diary management, meeting coordination, and data analysis.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work proactively and independently. Previous NHS experience would be desirable, but not essential.

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Specialist Services and other service managers.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including room booking and venue setup.
  • Analyze and present data to inform service improvement initiatives.
  • Manage the ordering of goods and receipting of items, with attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Degree in administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to travel using own vehicle on Trust business (subject to Equality Act provisions).
