We are looking for an experienced Offshore Portfolio Planning Specialist to join our team at Vestas. This is a complex job in a newly formed department with ample opportunity for development in the role and of the role.

Our Master Planning department under Operational Development (OD) in Offshore Service Northern, Central Europe (NCE) is responsible for creating and maintaining a Master Plan (portfolio plan) across all service sites in NCE Offshore incl. Special projects-, Blade Service-, and After Sales work.

The primary output from the Master Plan is an overview of all activities offshore in NCE as well as a forecast of demand for resources, vessels, tools, and spare parts.

About the Role

As an Offshore Portfolio Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining a Cluster Programme across all SER OFS sites in the cluster incl. input from Special Projects.
  • Assisting in building and maintaining the architecture of the planning effort.
  • Assisting in building and maintaining a governance structure for portfolio planning as well as for operational scheduling.
  • Assisting in building and maintaining the structure around planning including processes and procedures for planning and scheduling.
  • In close collaboration with stakeholders assisting in building and maintaining an information flow to stakeholders.
  • Taking part in and giving input to planning related meetings with key stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in implementing project plans and scheduling of projects with Primavera P6 in particular.
  • Product understanding and awareness.
  • Contractual, commercial, and operational understanding.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Experience working with multiple teams across geographical locations.
  • Relevant education.
About You

We are looking for a self-starter who is team-oriented and has strong analytical skills. You should also have excellent multi-tasking and coordination skills, strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Your salary will be £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
