Grant Funding Specialist

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to work in a dynamic environment with a leading organisation in the field of offshore renewable energy.
Responsibilities- Manage financial control of grant funded projects, ensuring compliance with guidelines and minimising risk of clawback.
- Responsibility for overall funding requirements, working closely with various colleagues to ensure all project outputs and milestones are delivered.
- Analysis of data to ensure strict adherence to guidelines for funded projects.
- Production and submission of grant claims, including analysis and production of expenditure evidence.
- Support the production of cashflow forecasts for grant funded projects, liaising with grant funders and Finance to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
- 2-3 years in an accounting role with exposure to revenue recognition.
- Team player and self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision and work proactively using their own initiative.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook software.
- Knowledge of SAGE accounting software advantageous.
- Ability to interrogate and analyse financial and other data.
