Autism Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Autism Support Worker to join our team in Blyth. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with autism to lead fulfilling lives.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to individuals with autism, assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, cooking, and household chores. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Support Individuals: Provide person-centred support to individuals with autism, enabling them to participate in leisure activities, develop life skills, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Assist with Personal Care: Assist individuals with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Cooking and Household Chores: Assist with meal preparation and household tasks, promoting a clean and safe living environment.
- Fully Funded Training: Receive comprehensive training and development opportunities, including a funded health and social care qualification.
- Varied Work Schedule: Enjoy a varied work schedule, including shift pattern rota and some weekend working.
- Career Progression: Benefit from opportunities for career progression and professional growth within our organisation.
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week.
- Part Time: 14 – 30 hours per week.
Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
