Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Job Summary: As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students across various year groups with diverse needs. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, enabling students to reach their full potential.

Salary: £90 - £105 per day

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism, ADHD, and mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify areas of need and develop targeted strategies for improvement.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in safeguarding and SEN awareness.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  1. Holds a degree in Special Needs, Psychology, Education, or a related field (desirable).
  2. Prior experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
  3. Demonstrates sound knowledge and understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and its impact on student outcomes.
