Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrative Specialist in Patient Services. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of administrative functions for patients from the time of GP referral to discharge.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate administrative functions for patients from referral to discharge.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage and prioritize own workload to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • RSA 2 or RSA 3 word processing/typing or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Awareness of National and Trust pathway targets.
