Are you a payroll professional seeking a fresh challenge? This reputable, regional practice in central Leicester require a Payroll Administrator due to their expanding client portfolio.

This is an all-encompassing role responsible for the end-to-end process for their own portfolio of clients. You will ensure compliance with statutory requirements and collaborate with clients addressing queries and advice where appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Multi-payroll processing for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Preparation of BACs for salary payments
  • Prepare pension contributions for new members across a range of different providers
  • Additional related calculations (JRS, holiday pay, redundancy, CIS, SSP, SMP, SPP etc.)

Requirements:

  • Previous payroll experience gained within an accountancy practice or from within a bureau setting is ideal
  • Payrollers from within industry will also be considered
  • Previous practical knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage or BrightPay
  • The capability to use your initiative, self-manage, multi-task, organise workload, work quickly and accurately to meet regular deadlines
