Job Overview

Flogas Britain Ltd is seeking a skilled Deputy Payroll Manager to join its team based at the head office. The successful candidate will oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly and weekly pay for over 1300 employees.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in payroll processing software and data analysis techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements, including knowledge of HMRC guidelines and pension legislation.


Main Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation and processing of both monthly and weekly payrolls alongside the Payroll Manager.
  2. Maintain and update payroll records by accurately collecting, calculating, and entering employee data, including timesheets and deductions.
  3. Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries regarding pay, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  4. Experience with payroll processing software (e.g., iTrent) to facilitate accurate payroll management.
  5. Experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros) and data analysis techniques to manage payroll data efficiently.
