About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist to join our Neuropsychology team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist clinical services to patients with a range of medical conditions, including neurosurgery, neurology, neurophysiology, stroke, and neurorehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment and treatment to patients across various care settings.
- Exercise full clinical responsibility for patients' psychological care and treatment, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapies and interventions.
- Contribute to clinical audit, research, and service evaluation, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Participate in service development and governance, driving innovation and improvement within the Medical Psychology service.

Requirements
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology, with experience in specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment and treatment.
- HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist.
- Post-doctoral training in a therapeutic approach relevant to the psychological needs of medical patients.
- Actively working towards registration with the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN).
