Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in Neuropsychology

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist to join our Neuropsychology team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist clinical services, working across various service areas, including general neuropsychology, neuro-oncology, stroke, neurorehabilitation, and functional neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments and treatments for clients across various care settings.
- Exercise full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment, both individually and within multidisciplinary care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide training and supervision to junior staff members.
- Contribute to clinical audit, research, and service evaluation initiatives.
- Minimum psychology degree 2:1.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist.
- Post-doctoral training in a therapeutic approach relevant to the psychological needs of medical patients.
- Actively working towards registration with the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
