Clinical Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our neuropsychology service, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical services to patients across various departments, including neurosurgery, neurology, neurophysiology, stroke, and neurorehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care and support to patients and their families.
- Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals on neuropsychological assessment and treatment.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for neuropsychological care.
- Participate in research studies and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of neuropsychology.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Post-doctoral training in neuropsychology and experience working with patients with complex neurological conditions.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist.
- Experience with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
