About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Neuropsychology team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical services to patients with a range of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment and treatment to clients across the full range of care settings
- Exercising full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment, both as an individual practitioner and within the context of multidisciplinary care
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conducting clinical audits and research to improve patient outcomes
About the Team
The Medical Psychology service is a dynamic and innovative team that delivers psychological assessment, intervention, and support to patients with a range of medical conditions. We utilize third-wave therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, alongside CBT as the core therapeutic modalities.

Person Specification
- Minimum psychology degree 2:1
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) or Counselling Psychology as accredited by the BPS &/or HCPC
- HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist
- Post-doctoral training in a therapeutic approach relevant to the psychological needs of medical patients
