About the Role
The Administrative Support Coordinator will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of both primary and high school offices within the Tweeddale Cluster Primary Schools and Peebles High School. This role is key in maintaining the efficient operation of administrative tasks, managing office staff, and handling ICT responsibilities.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing administrative and financial support across the Tweeddale Cluster Primary Schools and Peebles High School.
- Ensuring the efficient operation of administrative tasks, managing office staff, and handling ICT responsibilities.
- Supporting financial functions and ensuring compliance with administrative and financial policies.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- A HNC/HND qualification in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Substantial relevant experience in an administrative role.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be between £28,115 and £30,565 per annum, depending on experience. The role is permanent, with 35 hours worked per week.
Working Environment
The role will be based in the Scottish Borders Council area, with possible travel to other sites within the council area. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced administrative environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
