Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Administrative Support Coordinator to join our Senior Leadership Team at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia.

Salary

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £26,038 - £30,505 (Grade 5), commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring seamless execution of projects and day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to School projects led by the Senior Leadership Team, Associate Executive Deans, and Head of Operations.
  • Supporting staff recruitment, managing absences, and leavers in line with University policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating promotion processes, preparing paperwork, and liaising with HR.
  • Providing guidance on relevant School/University policies and procedures.
  • Supporting Senior Leadership Team meetings, committees, working groups, away days, and ad-hoc meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in using large database systems and proficient use of Office 365 and other standard IT packages.
  • HNC/SVQ Level 3 Administration or equivalent award.
