Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administrative Coordinator to join our friendly team at West Dunbartonshire Council. This is a term-time post offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and rewarding environment.

About the Role

This is a comprehensive clerical and administration service supporting the operations of Braehead Primary School. You will have responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of this service, ensuring the smooth running of the school office and providing a welcoming and efficient reception service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain school data, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurately recorded on computerised systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head Teacher and other staff members as required.
  • Assist with the arrangement of transport and trips/outings, and routine cash handling duties.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and have excellent organisational and communication skills.
Requirements

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Membership with the PVG scheme is essential.

Salary and Working Hours

The salary for this post is £18,425 per annum, pro-rata to the hours worked. The working hours for this post are part-time, term-time only.
