Job Title: Programme Manager Home-Based

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our team at Northumberland National Park Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a programme aimed at building climate change resilience and supporting farmers and landowners in accessing funding streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and allocate programme funding to support farmers and landowners in accessing funding streams.
  • Work alongside farmers and landowners to build climate change resilience and create networks to support each other.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, landowners, and other partners.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme management, with a focus on environmental sustainability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes, as well as current Natural Environment policy and issues facing rural upland communities.
  • Ability to influence partners and land managers to achieve effective delivery and good working relationships.
  • Confident use of information technology systems, including Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, and GIS applications.
