We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to join our team at Northumberland National Park Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting farmers and landowners in accessing funding streams, building climate change resilience, and creating networks to support each other.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and allocate programme funding to support farmers and landowners in achieving environmental improvement and habitat connectivity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, landowners, and other partners, to ensure effective delivery and good working relationships.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement programme strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate programme progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for future development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in programme management, with a focus on environmental sustainability and climate change resilience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence partners and stakeholders.
- Strong technical expertise in agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, and GIS applications.
