**Job Title:** Programme Manager - Home-Based Opportunity

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our team at Northumberland National Park Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a programme aimed at supporting farmers and landowners in accessing funding streams, building climate change and Brexit resilience, and creating networks to support each other.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and allocate programme funding to support farmers and landowners in accessing funding streams.
  • Work alongside farmers and landowners to build climate change and Brexit resilience, and create networks to support each other.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, landowners, and other relevant parties.
  • Monitor and evaluate the programme's progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the programme's objectives are met and its impact is maximized.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme management, with a focus on supporting farmers and landowners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes, as well as issues and techniques to achieve environmental improvement and habitat connectivity.
  • Experience of managing grant-aided projects, including working to deadlines, managing budgets using spreadsheets, and reporting to funders.
  • Confident in the use of information technology systems, including Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, and GIS applications.
