Capital Markets Development Associate Director

About the Role
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is seeking an experienced professional to join its Capital and Financial Markets Development team as an Associate Director. This role will support the Director, CFMD in aspects of the development of financial and capital markets in the EBRD COOs, including transaction support, policy dialogue, and capacity building.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design of policy dialogue with relevant stakeholders to promote capital markets and financial sector development.
- Coordinate development activities in line with comparative advantages in relation to the relevant stakeholders.
- Represent the Bank in international policy forums and initiatives when appropriate.
- Assist in guiding the EBRD's Banking and Treasury departments towards development opportunities.
- Support product innovation by assisting the EBRD's Banking colleagues in designing specific banking transactions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience working with a wide range of financial and/or capital market products.
- Experience in local currency and capital market product design.
- Knowledge of the various market and/or policy participants in the global capital/financial markets.
- Proven project management experience, preferably related to financial sector development in transition economies.
