Regional Sales Professional

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Professional to promote and sell our total proposition of products and services within a defined area.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a good understanding of the garage equipment industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Generating sales leads for all aspects of the proposition
  • Following up enquiries and making necessary customer appointments
  • Site surveys
  • Basic sketches for submission to our client's CAD office where applicable
  • Working in conjunction with office-based sales staff
  • Sales support at exhibitions
  • Providing sales support for all target customers where applicable
  • Achieving sales and margin targets

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge and experience of capital garage equipment and related services
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent levels of communication, dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels
  • Positive 'can do' attitude towards solving customer problems
  • Knowledge of the region's geography and road network would be a distinct advantage
  • Financial awareness
  • IT literacy
  • Current UK Driving licence
  • Some overnight stays may be necessary where business requires occasionally
