Business Development Lead

Job Description: As a Business Development Lead at Active in the Community CIC, you will play a key role in driving growth and revenue through the development and implementation of effective sales strategies. You will be responsible for leading our School and Community Facility Management Teams in attracting and securing high levels of bookings across our portfolio of sites.
">About the Role: The successful candidate will have experience in sales or marketing, with a strong understanding of the local market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, identifying and communicating with new potential clients, and staying true to our identity as a business throughout all interactions.
">Key Responsibilities:
- To lead the School and Community Facility Management Teams in ensuring we attract and secure high levels of bookings across our school and community facilities, and provide the highest quality of service.
- To develop and implement effective sales strategies to convert enquiries into sales for hiring our facilities.
- To identify and communicate with new potential clients from the local area and larger national organisations.
- To stay true to our identity as a business throughout any communication with clients to ensure they develop a long-term relationship and loyalty to our company.
- To contribute and assist in AITC's planning processes and review of its performance and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A sales or marketing related qualification of Level 5 or above.
- Ability to travel independently with access to a vehicle and to possess a driving licence.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in one of the following fields: Sales, Marketing, Business Growth, Client Acquisition, Customer Service.
- Knowledge of the local area (Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire).
