About the Opportunity

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as an Interim Deputy Director of People. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional people services and has a proven track record of success in a similar role.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the People Services Directorate, ensuring that our Trust values are embedded throughout the organisation. They will also play a key role in the development and delivery of our People Strategy, working closely with the Director of People and other stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the People Services Directorate
  • Develop and deliver the Trust's People Strategy
  • Ensure that our Trust values are embedded throughout the organisation
  • Provide expert HR advice to the organisation
  • Manage and resolve employee relations cases
  • Ensure that the Trust has People policies and procedures that are legally compliant and reflect our values

Requirements

  • Member or Fellow of CIPD
  • Proven high level leadership skills in a multifaceted complex organisation
  • Substantial and relevant senior management experience in a key operational role with healthcare
  • Significant NHS experience
  • Can demonstrate achievements in workforce effectiveness and managing within budgets
