We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Ideal Carehomes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, medication management, and mobility assistance.
- Lead and supervise a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring individualized care and support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (essential)
- At least 6 months of experience as a Senior/Team Leader in a Residential Care Home setting (essential)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
