Residential Care Home Director

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Manager to join our team at HC-One. As a Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the care home team and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home, including staff management, occupancy, marketing, and recruitment.
- Promote a caring environment that provides residents with a high standard of personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and commercial business targets.
- Build and maintain links within the community through engagement and outreach.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety and fire safety requirements.
- Complete staff supervisions and appraisals to deliver the highest standard of person-centred care.
- Oversee key areas within the home, including the front of house, catering, and housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the principles in sales and marketing.
- Skilled in the recruitment, selection, and retention of staff.
- Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.
- Understand the Care Standards Act and Health & Safety legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A professional, confident, and warm personality.
- A caring disposition.
- Leadership qualities, enthusiasm, and influencing and motivational skills.
- Willing and able to provide an out of hours on-call service.
- Be able to provide cover for absent Managers at other care homes.
