Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children\u0027s Residential Support Worker to join our team in Droitwich. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in supporting young people between the ages of 14-17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
As a Children\u0027s Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and independence of our young people. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans, providing support and guidance to help our young people overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and empathetic individual with a passion for working with young people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.

Key Responsibilities:
To provide high-quality care and support to young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
To work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans, promoting the well-being and independence of our young people.
To create a safe and nurturing environment that supports the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of our young people.
To build strong relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of our young people.
Requirements:
Experience working with young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
A passion for working with young people and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
A willingness to work flexibly and participate in on-call duties as required.
A full driver\u0027s licence and access to a car.
