About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Westmead Residential Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Support residents with their leisure and social activities, encouraging engagement and participation
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful environment, promoting a sense of community and belonging

Requirements

  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
