At Primary Care Sheffield, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Advanced Clinical Service Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of our at-scale services.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is open to individuals with leadership experience and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide management support to Operational Managers and direct reports, ensuring that they have the resources and guidance needed to excel in their roles.

You will also be responsible for co-ordinating clinical rotas and pay roll submissions, including managing holidays and other periods of absence. Additionally, you will work closely with the management team to support the governance of the service, producing information for performance management purposes and monitoring key performance areas.

Responsibilities
  • To support the Management Team in the day-to-day operational management of at-scale services.
  • To co-ordinate reception rotas across all PCAS services, ensuring an adequate level of cover is maintained.
  • To supervise and line manage administrative staff, retaining appropriate documentation in the HR file.
  • To ensure safe and robust IT systems are in place and support the service in the development of IT, information, and the Clinical System.
  • To attend key meetings representing and advocating on behalf of the administrative staff.

As an Advanced Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team, providing leadership and guidance, and ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care. You will also be responsible for contributing to developing a positive working environment and welcoming service with other team members and those visiting PCAS services.

Requirements
  • Calls handling and/or administrative experience.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Management qualification (level 5 or above) or significant experience as a line manager.
