Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our CAMHS service at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse cohort of service users, delivering high-quality care through clear organisation of lodge processes, structured governance and escalation routes, and strong leadership and support for colleagues within the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operational management of the lodge, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of care.
  • Lead the lodge to deliver a clinically effective service to children and young people, including setting clear direction for strategic developments and problem-solving operational and clinical issues collaboratively with the lodge leadership team.
  • Develop and implement care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Psychiatry, Psychology, SaLT, Teaching, and Social Work.
  • Manage the E-roster system, ensuring safe levels of staffing are achieved.
  • Provide line management and clinical supervision, as well as clinical leadership and specialist advice.

Requirements

  • RMN/RN (Mental Health) or RLDN/RN (Learning Disabilities) registration.
  • Post-registration clinical training relevant to CAMHS Mental Health.
  • Teaching and Assessing ENB 998/Mentorship.
  • Degree in a relevant subject.
