About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our In-Patient Unit team at Sue Ryder St John's Hospice. As a key member of our multi-professional team, you will provide individualized, specialist care to patients and their families, working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care using evidence-based practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using our electronic system.
  • Perform various clinical procedures, including pain and symptom management treatments.
  • Participate in education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to our quality and governance program, including completing audits and quality improvement initiatives.
About You

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in palliative and end-of-life care. You should possess excellent communication skills, be flexible and positive, and able to work effectively within a team. You will also be expected to live our values of Supportive, Impactful, and Connected and practice our attached behaviors.
