About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Sue Ryder St John's Hospice. As a Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing individualized, specialist care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care using evidence-based practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using our electronic system.
  • Perform various clinical procedures, including pain and symptom management treatments.
  • Participate in education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to our quality and governance program by completing audits and quality improvement initiatives.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • NMC registration and ideally post-registration experience in palliative or end-of-life care.
  • The ability to be flexible, positive, and work collaboratively within the wider team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
