About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our dynamic team at St John's Hospice, providing high-quality palliative care to patients and their families.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse to lead our Palliative Care Hub team, providing 24-hour telephone support and working closely with nurses and healthcare assistants.

The successful candidate will have excellent assessment, planning, referral, implementation, and evaluation skills, with the ability to provide individualized care to patients and their families.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and leading some of our healthcare assistants, allocating visits, and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.

About You
  • NMC registered with post-registration experience in palliative and end-of-life care.
  • Ability to be flexible, positive, and work collaboratively within the team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of SystemOne and the independent sector is advantageous.
