About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse to join our Palliative Care team at Sue Ryder St John's Hospice. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality palliative care support and advice to patients, their families, and other care professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour telephone support to patients and families
  • Work collaboratively with Nurses and Health Care Assistants to deliver palliative care
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Lead and support the HCAs in their roles
  • Allocate visits and ensure effective communication with the team
Requirements
  • NMC registration with post-registration experience in palliative and end-of-life care
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and positively within the team
  • Knowledge of SystemOne and the independent sector is advantageous
