English Learning Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an English Learning Assistant in a primary school setting. As an English Learning Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the education of primary school students aged 4-11, helping them to develop their language and literacy skills.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to thrive academically. You will engage with children individually or in small groups to aid their learning, attending to their personal needs, including minor first aid, and contributing to their social, emotional, and academic development.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience to help pupils grasp lessons and engage with activities planned by the teacher, and GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, grade C or above. An enhanced child DBS is also required, although Randstad can assist with obtaining one if needed.
We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 per annum, a fantastic referral bonus of £300 in Love2Shop vouchers for successful referrals, and access to a variety of e-learning courses and knowledge resources.
