School Support Staff Job

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Smallfield, Surrey.

About the Position:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of students with Autism and associated behavioural and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and maintain positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional and educational growth.
  • To support the Class Teacher in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
  • To assist with monitoring student progress and implementing strategies for improvement.
  • To contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Level 3 / Grade C or equivalent.
  • Desirable teaching assistant qualification.
  • Experience of working in a special school setting.
  • Ability to use Team TEACH Training effectively.
Salary and Benefits:
