Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Smallfield, Surrey

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join Empowering Learning near Redhill, Surrey.

  • Work collaboratively with the SENCo and teaching staff to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN as required, including behavioural, emotional, and social support.
  • Record and monitor the progress of students with SEN, providing regular feedback to teachers and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience working with students with SEN is essential.
  • Experience working with students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH is highly desirable.
  • Detailed knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant policies and procedures for supporting students with SEN is necessary.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential for this role.
