Educational Support Assistant - Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs
About Us:

We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional education and care services.
Role Overview:
This role involves working closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN). The successful candidate will have experience working with students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN in the classroom, promoting their engagement and participation in lessons.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCo and teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with SEN.
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, including behavioural, emotional, and social support.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent experience working with students with SEN.
- Experience working with students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant policies and procedures for supporting students with SEN.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
