Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Inverclyde Council. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our staff and ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to staff, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and other documents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
