Job Summary:

CommScope is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team in Rhyl, North Wales. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support across multiple sites, contributing to the design, implementation, and daily maintenance of our computing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for a variety of environments, including offices, manufacturing, and warehouses.
  • Diagnose and resolve reported system issues, and bring up complex problems for effective resolution.
  • Coordinate the setup of laptops for new hires, ensuring compliance with user requirements.
  • Perform hands-on support in the Bray Data Center, including racking and cabling new equipment, removal of old equipment, and ongoing support for all equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological advancements, researching opportunities for improvement and conducting technical demonstrations as needed.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT teams to align operations with our standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT customer support.
