About The Salvation Army's STEP Project

The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our innovative STEP Project in Denbighshire. This project aims to enhance the living experience of individuals and families residing in temporary accommodation by providing comprehensive support and fostering their well-being.

Project Overview

STEP will serve up to 50 households currently living in temporary housing arrangements. Our approach involves initial support within existing temporary settings, such as B&Bs, followed by a transition into specialized supported living facilities as they become available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our team to provide essential support to families and individuals residing in temporary emergency accommodation across multiple locations within Rhyl.
  • Contribute to the delivery of meaningful activities and co-production opportunities, creating structure and purpose for families and individuals across various community settings.
