Senior Research Statistician

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced medical statistician with expertise in the design and conduct of clinical trials. The successful candidate will provide statistical oversight and analysis of the TRANSFORM prostate cancer screening trial, a national trial jointly funded by Prostate Cancer Research UK and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The trial aims to evaluate promising new screening regimes and provide evidence for the UK National Screening Committee, policy makers, and the international cancer research community.
About You
You will have a PhD in medical statistics or a related area, and a proven track-record of high-quality research at a national and international level. Experience in the design and analysis of clinical trials, teaching, and mentoring is essential. You will work collaboratively with our cross-institutional team throughout the trial life-cycle from planning to reporting.
About the Institute
The Wolfson Institute of Population Health is a centre of excellence in population health, primary care, and preventive medicine. The Centre for Evaluation and Methods is part of this institute, and you will work in this centre.
