About the Position:

EdEx invites applications from ambitious English Graduates seeking a challenging yet rewarding role as a Literacy Mentor for KS4-5 students. As a key member of the teaching team, you will be responsible for fostering a love of learning among students, with a focus on developing their literacy skills and confidence.

This Secondary School in Greenwich prides itself on its commitment to teacher training and staff development. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to embark on a Salaried Teacher Training program, commencing September 2025, enabling them to grow professionally and advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons to enhance students' literacy skills
  • Provide one-on-one support and mentoring to students
  • Collaborate with teachers to design effective lesson plans

Salary: £105 - £110 per day

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English or related field
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A vibrant, motivational personality
