Senior Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Samsung. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial, management, and cost accounts, as well as forecasting future movements of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance team and manage the timely provision of financial and monthly accounts, budgetary control, and planning.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage the production of operating budgets and forecasts, and provide accurate reports on financial results.
- Liaise with directors to produce financial information to assist with their reporting and decision-making requirements.
- Manage the timely production of financial reports and statements, including monthly reporting of costs by division and project.
- Manage the recharge of R&D expenses to SEC.
- Manage the timely monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and commentaries.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to improve financial management.
- Encourage team building, motivation, and effective team relations.
- Provide timely progress reports following meetings and other activities.
- Perform ad hoc activities as required.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (Chartered, Management, or Certified).
- Extensive industry experience as a qualified accountant.
- Fluent Korean/English language skills (written and spoken).
- Experience of team management within a small independent setup.
- Experience of working in a cross-cultural setting.
- Desired experience of Project Accounting.
- Significant skill and experience of integrated accounting packages, spreadsheets (MS Excel), and databases, including SAP.
- Competent level of presentation, communication, and planning skills.
- Able to take responsibility for financial decisions.
- Good understanding of documentation requirements.
- Ability to learn and implement SRUK and Corporate business philosophies.

Hybrid Working: Standard working week will be 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home
