We are seeking an accomplished Apprenticeship Skills Coach to lead the delivery of our vocational education programs in Derby and surrounding areas.

Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about developing the skills of young professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding apprentices in their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coach and mentor apprentices in achieving their career goals.
  2. Develop personalized learning plans that cater to each apprentice's needs.
  3. Conduct regular progress reviews to assess and improve outcomes.
  4. Build strong relationships with apprentices, line managers, and employers to ensure seamless communication.
  5. Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and provide timely feedback.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance overall program effectiveness.
  7. Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes engagement and motivation.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
  9. Promote the value of vocational education to prospective employers and the wider community.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Relevant teaching or coaching qualification at Level 3 or higher.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in delivering vocational education or training programs.
  3. Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and quality assurance frameworks.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Flexibility to travel to various locations, including Derby and surrounding areas.
Salary and Benefits:

£38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
